ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - Utah & Nevada Region
Please visit the new page to apply.

Just one day of your life could change someone else's life forever!
Help your community in Boxelder County become safer from home fires! We are looking for individuals and groups who would like to volunteer with the Red Cross to conduct fire safety education and install free smoke alarms.
Home fires claim an average of 7 lives every day, but having working smoke alarms cuts that risk of death IN HALF.
That’s why the American Red Cross is rallying volunteers to install free smoke alarms nationwide, as part of our Home Fire Campaign program. This is an ongoing activity for individual and groups of volunteers who can set which days per month they want to do the free smoke alarms installations, and help families create escape plans while sharing fire safety information.
We are looking for individuals or groups that would like to do this on a regular basis or as a one-time activity. We have lots of people who have made appointments and are just waiting for a Red Cross volunteer to come out and visit them.
This is a rewarding activity for groups and individuals alike! You can sign up to do this on a regular basis or as a one-time experience. All you need to do is go out and visit the many people who have already made appointments with the Red Cross to protect themselves from home fires.
