About Veterans Community Project of St Louis

Location:

1515 N Grand, Saint Louis, MO 63116, US

Mission Statement

Veterans housing Veterans armed with the strength and support of the community.

Description

Founded by combat Veterans in Kansas City, Missouri, Veterans Community Project (VCP) delivers high-quality, strategic services to help Veterans overcome daily challenges, resolve crises, and work toward long-term stability.

VCP’s approach is simple but powerful: provide Veterans with a home of their own and wraparound support to help them get back on their feet-and stay there.

VCP Village features fully furnished, pet-friendly tiny homes that offer security and a place to heal. Each home includes everything a Veteran needs to thrive, from furniture to kitchenware.

Trained case managers work closely with each resident on goals related to health, employment, education, financial literacy, and building a personal support network. When ready, VCP helps Veterans transition into permanent housing-whether market-rate rentals, subsidized units, or homeownership. They leave with not only the contents of their home but the continued support of the VCP community.
