Group Leader : You will create art and help guide 4-5 students through prepared activities facilitated by artists and Museum Staff.
Qualities Needed in a Summer Camp Volunteer Group Leader: Understand that safety is first and foremost priority; Enjoy working with kids ages 3rd-6th grade; Patient and compassionate approach to creating art.
Dates: Monday, July 14 - Friday, July 18 (must be available for at least four of these five dates)
Time: 12:30-4:30pm (Camp is from 1:00-4:00pm)
In addition, we ask that the volunteers attend one of the following trainings on-site at the Museum. Monday, July 7, 2025: 2:00-4:00pm or Tuesday, July 8, 2025, 6:00-8:00pm. If a volunteer is available to volunteer during summer camp week, but unable to attend one of the trainings, I ask that they still express their interest and we can handle the situation on a case-by-case basis.

Description
The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures preserves and exhibits the largest fine-scale miniature collection in the world and one of the largest toy collections on public display in the United States. The museum opened in 1982 as the Toy and Miniature Museum of Kansas City. Since then, the museum has engaged audiences through special exhibitions, events, and programming.
