City Blossoms

City Blossoms, a DC-based nonprofit committed to kid-driven community green spaces, is seeking volunteers to help revitalize this garden. This is slightly different from a typical garden workday as it will primarily involve rat mitigation efforts such as digging up rat holes, trimming undergrowth on bushy plants, and other rat abatement activities. This will be a great opportunity for volunteers that are interested in learning about pest management and who aren't afraid to see a rat scurry away at times!

For questions, email cara@cityblossoms.org.

Please dress in clothes you don't mind getting dirty and wear closed toe shoes. Everyone is encouraged to bring a water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen. We will provide gloves and tools. Please keep in mind that we will work rain or shine, unless otherwise specified.
