Your time and presence as Volunteer will impact many families.
Volunteers can be involved in companionship visits: reading to patients, listening to patients share their life journey, sing to patients, engage with patients and their hobbies, etc.
Assist in Administrative duties: day-to-day tasks, office mailings, filing, weekly tuck-in calls, marketing projects, etc.
Participate in Bereavment support: mail-outs, phone clls, memeorial services for families of patients that we have lost, etc.
Participate in other speciality volunteer services: Pet Therapy, Hairstylist, Musicians, Outreach/Fundraising, etc.
Volunteering as a way to "give and give back if you too have been impacted by a loss". Many families are open to having volunteers!

Three Oaks Hospice serves the following counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence, Mercer, Washington, and Westmoreland.
Three Oaks Hospice core goals resolve around providing comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centered care, focusing on comfort, dignity, and quality of life for individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families. They achieve this through a team of skilled professionals and trained volunteers, offering a wide range of services including pain management, nursing care, counseling and bereavement support.
