Grow with Us!
Join Byron Health Center in the garden, where we dig in the dirt, soak up the sunshine, and create beauty together. Volunteers will assist residents and staff with planting, watering, weeding, and maintaining our outdoor spaces.
No green thumb? No problem! This is a great opportunity to learn basic gardening skills, enjoy fresh air, and build meaningful connections with our residents through shared tasks and conversation.
Whether you're helping plant flowers or simply offering encouragement, your time makes a difference in keeping our garden, and our community, thriving.

Byron Wellness Community is a non-profit organization providing compassionate care for individuals with complex medical, psychiatric, or developmental conditions. We offer long-term care, skilled nursing, memory care, physical and occupational therapy, and Licensed Assisted Living at Miller’s Place. Our specialized programs, including secured memory care neighborhoods and therapies like Cognitive Pathway Strategies and Horticulture Therapy, support residents with conditions such as dementia, mental illness, and intellectual disabilities. With a skilled, compassionate team, we strive to create a culture of inclusion, dignity, and innovative care.
