Haunted House @ The Lincoln Center
ORGANIZATION: The Lincoln Center
Please visit the new page to apply.

The Lincoln Center in Downers Grove is seeking enthusiastic volunteers (ages 14 and up) to help bring this year’s Haunted House to life! We're looking for individuals who love Halloween and aren't afraid to get into character, wear spooky costumes, and have a frightfully good time.
Scene actors will portray iconic villains from classic horror films like Michael Myers, Jason, Ghostface, Pennywise, zombies, and more! Prefer to play the victim instead of the villain? We’ve got roles for that too!
If you’re ready to scream, scare, support, and entertain, sign up now... if you dare.
There will be two orientations to come out to before the big event!
- Friday, 10/10 from 6pm-8pm at the Lincoln Center (Auditorium)
- Saturday, 10/11 from 10am-12pm at the Lincoln Center (Room 503)
2 Shifts

Description
Originally home to the historic Lincoln School from 1867 to 1974, the Lincoln Community Center now serves as a vibrant hub for education, recreation, and community engagement in the heart of Downers Grove. After being purchased and thoughtfully renovated by the Park District, this six-level, multi-use facility offers a diverse range of programs and services for residents of all ages.
Conveniently located on the south side of Maple Avenue between Washington Street and Main Street, the Lincoln Center is home to the Lincoln Learning Center Preschool, The Link After School Program, and the Adult Center. Its central location and versatile amenities make it an ideal setting for business meetings, seminars, workshops, and social gatherings.
The building features a variety of spaces including meeting rooms, art and ceramic studios, a small gymnasium, classrooms, an auditorium, kitchen facilities, and the District’s registration office. Many of these spaces are available for rental on a seasonal basis, supporting the community’s need for flexible and accessible gathering spaces.
