The Preston Settles Memorial Fund is looking for volunteer event staff for PS3 Casino Night on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. We are looking for people with great people skills, positive attitudes, and a strong work ethic. Volunteers will be engaging attendees at registration, ushering guests, helping with the auction and other various tasks throughout the event. Time needed: 3:30 - 8:30pm. Dinner Included.
Description: The Preston Settles Memorial Fund will host PS3 Casino Night on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. The event will feature a Dinner Dine-Around with Lydia Shire, a variety of casino games, a live auction, and a special live performance by the Brothers Walk Band.
Approximate number of Guests: 400 guests
Wardrobe: Ladies -Black tailored pants, black blazer jacket, black tank, black dress shoes. Men - Black tailored pants, black dress shirt, black shoes.

About Preston Settles Memorial Fund
In 2022, Settles family was forever changed by the unimaginable loss of their beloved son and brother, Preston Settles, who passed away at just 15 years old due to a sudden cardiac arrest caused by hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) while playing basketball. Preston lived by the creed "never have a bad day" - embracing every moment, cherishing those around him, and striving to make each day better than the last. HCM is the leading cause of sudden death among young athletes, representing nearly one-third of all athletic field deaths in the U.S. Net proceeds from Casino Night will support life-saving initiatives, ensuring that every sporting event in the Commonwealth is equipped with AEDs and personnel trained to act in emergencies.
