Director of Corporate Giving

Commitment: Part-Time (Approx. 2 hours/day)

Cloud Veterans is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping honorably discharged U.S. military veterans transition into high-paying careers in cloud computing. We provide free access to technical training, certifications, job placement, and hands-on support to empower veterans for success in the digital economy.

We are seeking a mission-driven Director of Strategic Partnerships & Corporate Giving to lead our efforts in securing high-value sponsorships and donations from Fortune 500 companies, cloud providers, and technology leaders.

This is a high-visibility, relationship-driven role for someone who thrives in building executive-level partnerships that align social impact with business objectives.

• Identify, engage, and secure corporate sponsors and major donors aligned with Cloud Veterans' mission.

• Build and manage a pipeline of strategic giving opportunities ($10K-$250K+).

• Develop compelling sponsorship proposals, presentations, and impact reports.

• Cultivate relationships with CSR leaders, DEI champions, ERG groups, and C-level executives.

• Collaborate with our marketing and programs team to align donor messaging with veteran impact stories.

• Represent Cloud Veterans at virtual conferences, webinars, and networking events.

• 7+ years of experience in corporate partnerships, philanthropy, or enterprise sales.

• Proven track record of closing 5- and 6-figure sponsorships or donations.

• Excellent relationship-building and executive communication skills.

• Passion for veterans, workforce development, and technology access.

• Self-starter who can thrive with autonomy and limited hours.

• Bonus: Experience working with Microsoft, AWS, Google, or other cloud ecosystems.

This is a part-time, paid position (2 hours per day). Compensation is commensurate with experience and may include performance-based bonuses tied to fundraising outcomes.
