Do you want to use your project management skills to make a real impact?

TeleHelpUkraine is an open-source volunteer initiative building a secure, real-time WhatsApp integration platform to help Ukrainian patients, doctors, and volunteers communicate. We’re looking for dedicated volunteer Project Managers to help lead the effort.

You’ll play a core role in shaping the system’s architecture, defining key goals, and coordinating contributors across development, design, documentation, and testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Define project milestones and architecture

  • Break down goals into GitHub issues and assign tasks

  • Run async standups or biweekly check-ins

  • Coordinate contributors across technical and non-technical areas

  • Monitor progress and help award Certify.One certificates

  • Maintain an active GitHub project board

Time Commitment:

  • 5-7 hours per week

  • Flexible scheduling

  • Ideal commitment: 4-8 weeks

You’ll Receive:

  • A blockchain-verifiable certificate from Certify.One

  • GitHub credit and public recognition as a Project Lead

  • Real-world PM experience on a humanitarian tech project

We need volunteers to continue growing and providing more help! We are looking for providers, interpreters, project managers, developers, patient advocates/outreach, social media specialists, and much more. Volunteers are not required to know Ukrainian.

Description

TeleHelp Ukraine is a nonprofit providing free, quality mental health and medical support through telemedicine to Ukrainians affected by the Russian invasion. We are currently a team of over 80 volunteers and 100 clinicians from around the world who have provided over 500 consultations to Ukrainians under occupation, near the front lines, internally displaced, and seeking refuge in Poland.
