International Eye LA's most exciting, colorful, and VIBRANT Caribbean carnival, parade, and festival in Leimert Park - "Carnival on The 'Shaw." Volunteer for this amazing public event as a parade and festival volunteer!
Some responsibilities include:
- Assisting with parade registration and check-in
- Walking in the parade as dancers, flag bearers, and hype folks!
- Participating in the Starlight Spectacular (HELP LIGHT UP CRENSHAW BLVD!)
- Passing out flyers and information
- Walking in a fashion show in traditional African dress
- Leading arts and crafts activities for children and families
- Or joining the planning committee (admin/office tasks)

- Wear our handmade, authentic Caribbean carnival costumes and masks
- Plenty of free snacks, drinks, and meals
- Gain parade and festival planning and project management job experience
- Music, dancing, DJs, and more!

We celebrate our common humanity and build multicultural, international bridges to Heal our Spirits, our Minds, our Bodies and our Selves. In addition, International Eye's greatest success is our annual Caribbean Carnival and Festival - the Los Angeles Carnival!
