Are you ready to make a real difference in teens’ lives? We’re seeking compassionate, grounded, and engaging Group Facilitators to lead small groups that support youth emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.

Our groups cover important topics like mental health, leadership, identity, faith, and community - all designed to help teens grow into confident, resilient young adults.

What You’ll Do:

  • Guide structured, meaningful group conversations on mental health, identity, leadership, faith, and more

  • Foster a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment where every teen feels heard

  • Lead activities, discussions, or lessons with provided curriculum and training

  • Model active listening, healthy boundaries, and positive values

  • Collaborate with staff and volunteers - you’ll never be alone with youth

Groups You May Lead or Co-Lead:

  • Mental Health Support

  • LGBTQ+ Affirming Support

  • Leadership & Life Skills Workshops

  • Bible Studies and Faith Conversations

  • Grief & Loss Support

  • Peer Mentoring Circles

  • Identity & Purpose Exploration

What We’re Looking For:

  • Commitment to complete background screening and facilitator training

  • Comfortable leading discussions and managing small groups

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, boundaries, and emotional safety

  • Compassionate, nonjudgmental, and approachable presence

  • Availability for weekly or biweekly group sessions (we’ll work with your schedule)

Youth Haven Ministries is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit that’s been serving youth and families since 2017-first in Florida, then South Carolina, and now in West Virginia. We exist to create safe, welcoming spaces for teens who feel overlooked, anxious, or alone. We do this in the name of Jesus, following His example of unconditional love letting our actions speak louder than words. There’s no pressure and no judgment.
You don’t have to be religious. Our programs are open to everyone-no matter your background, beliefs, identity, or lifestyle. No pressure. No strings attached.
From free game nights and "Real Talk" hangouts to concerts and community picnics, we build spaces where teens feel at home. In 2019, our Florida teen center grew from 2 to over 60 teens, simply because they knew they were cared for. In South Carolina, we serve youth and families in crisis with dignity and compassion. And now, we’re bringing that same heart to West Virginia.
