House of Neighborly Service is seeking passionate and community-minded volunteers to serve as Food Drive Ambassadors. In this role, volunteers will represent HNS at local grocery stores during scheduled food drives, engaging with the public and encouraging donations to support our food pantry. Responsibilities include set up, distributing shopping lists to customers, and providing basic information about HNS's mission and programs to curious shoppers. Volunteers will need to able to lift 30lbs and have reliable transportation. These events are expected to take place quarterly and each event should take about 4-5 hours. Please reach out if you are interested in helping HNS make food more accessible to those in need!

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
