Role Description

The Supporter Relations Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Big Break’s sponsors and donors. This role involves donor engagement and stewardship to cultivate long-term partnerships.

Anticipated commitment is 3-5 hours a week.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and supporting organizations through personalized communication and outreach.
  • Develop and execute supporter acknowledgment processes, including thank-you letters, recognition programs, and public acknowledgments.
  • Create tailored communications to inform supporters about the impact of their contributions, including newsletters, reports, and success stories.
  • Maintain accurate supporter records, tracking contributions, preferences, and impact.
  • Collect and analyze supporter feedback to improve engagement strategies and ensure retention.
  • Work closely with the development team to align efforts with broader fundraising strategies.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in donor relations or related field.
  • Proficiency in project management, donor management, or customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
  • Passion for promoting inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility in the Location-Based Experience industry.

This is a professional volunteer position with an anticipated commitment of 3-5 hours per week. As a Supporter Relations Specialist, you will play an essential role in Big Break Foundation's mission.
