Description

About Camp New Journey
Camp New Journey is a nonprofit organization providing affordable, life-changing camp experiences for youth and families in underserved communities across Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties. Located in the Angeles National Forest, our camp creates a safe, fun, and inspiring environment where young people can grow emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

Since our founding, we've served over 1,000 campers, with 75% receiving full or partial scholarships. Our mission is to break down financial and social barriers so every child has access to outdoor adventure, mentorship, and personal development.

Programs include summer overnight camps, winter retreats, creative arts, STEM activities, leadership training, and optional faith-based sessions that focus on building strong character and confidence. We also offer a junior counselor pathway for older youth ready to lead.

Through our Healthy Food Initiative, we provide nutritious meals and snacks daily, helping campers build healthy habits that last beyond camp.

With strong community partnerships and our "No Camper Left Behind" transportation initiative, we’re working to ensure every child has the chance to experience the power of camp.
