WHO WE ARE

Senior Housing Options, Inc. (SHO) is a nonprofit organization passionately dedicated to providing safe, affordable housing and support services for Colorado’s older adults and adults with disabilities. Born out of an urgent need in 1979 to protect vulnerable residents displaced by Denver’s rapid development, SHO has evolved into a trusted leader in senior care and housing.

What began with saving The Olin Hotel Apartments, in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, has grown into a network of four assisted living residences, five affordable apartment communities and one adult day program across the state, serving over 3 0 0 low-income individuals . We partner with government agencies, local nonprofits, and the communities we serve to ensure every resident has a place they can call home.

  • Supporting and evaluating the CEO and organizational leadership

  • Advocating for SHO in the community and sharing key insights

  • Participating in fundraising and events

  • Making a minimum personal or solicited contribution of $1,000 annually , aligned with your capacity and passion

WHO YOU ARE

SHO is looking for passionate individuals who bring diverse skills and perspectives- especially in healthcare, housing, nonprofit management, finance, fundraising, or community advocacy. Lived experience and a commitment to equity are highly valued.

WHY JOIN US?
