Tele-Commuter Resources is a Minnesota based, non-profit research and implementation organization focusing on Community Viability ( https://telecommuter.org/ information-age-community/). We currently have three projects under development.

  • The Community Index is a research tool capturing data from multiple census and other sources with trend analysis and many strategic metrics.
  • The e-Consensus Forum has multiple applications as it supports board meetings, generating policy and other applications.
  • Graphics generator to display the results of the data.

THIS OPPORTUNITY:

We have dozens of data indicators that collectively will define the viability of a community of type of community. Some of the data is readibly available through the census etc. Others will be far more challenging. we NEED a librarian/researcher to find that data

About Tele-Commuter Resources

Location:

4315 Virginia Avenue, St Paul, MN 55126, US

Mission Statement

Restoring rural viability by integrating our rural and urban economies via virtual applications, transit and a leadership structure based upon the market's socio-economic orientation to metropolitan areas

Description

After many years of research, Tele-Commuter Resources has developed the Information Age Community project. It's dynamic boundary is based upon markets not political boundaries defined by pioneer surveyor s and geologic land forms. Its goal is to integrate our urban-rural economies and represents the first Comprehensive Development Plan for Minnesota and surrounding communities.

The workplan was developed by 100 participants over a one-year period using our patented e-Consensus Forum.

Our efforts began with strategic telework which begins the paradigm shift from the Industrial Age centralization model to the Information Age model of decentralization. Unfortunately, in many policy and operational arenas we remain locked in the Industrial mindset. Our Workforce Virtualization Program (WVP) addresses many of the remote worker issues that should have totally invalidated the dominant ad hoc approach. The WVP is based upon reducing congestion and its environmental and energy related impacts, facility "right-sizing", enhanced, and accountable, performance and a greater ROI. If you provide a Suite of Telecommuting Services that supports your activities electronically, you can live anywhere while simultaneously putting people back into our neighborhoods and small towns. TCR's assessment tools in managing the workforce, curriculum optimization, and health care delivery are a few of the basic tools to move society into the Information Age
