Foster Transporter Specialist
The Foster Transport Specialists helps transfer CRAN cats (and their supplies like food, litter box, medication) from one foster home to a new foster home. Transport days/times are flexible and are rarely urgent; occasionally they need to happen within 48 hours, but that is rare. Approx 1-5 transfers a week. Must have a valid driver's license, a safe/reliable vehicle and active insurance. Must be able to pick up and lift a 20 lb cat carrier and carry/load it into your vehicle.
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling pick-up and drop-off dates
- Clear verbal and written communication; may need to communicate via email, text or phone
- Safe and reliable driver
- Load and unload cat plus supplies from and into foster homes
- Communicate with foster team when transfers are complete

Description
As an all-volunteer, no-kill, non-profit rescue located in the Eugene/Springfield area of Oregon, Cat Rescue & Adoption Network relies on volunteers to further our mission. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network (CRAN) began as West Coast Dog and Cat Rescue in 2006.
- We have rescued over 7,000 cats finding them perfect, loving homes.
- We work to trap-neuter-return (TNR) cats; we work with multiple other non-profit organizations to save cats and kitties and facilitate adoptions.
- We have cats in several partner locations across the Eugene and Springfield area.
- Volunteer with us! We have online/remote activities, adoption preparation, fostering, fundraising, and more!
