Empowering Futures: Education and Health for Vulnerable Children
. Project Overview
This project aims to provide educational support and basic healthcare to vulnerable children in Wakiso District, Uganda. By addressing these critical needs, we will empower children to break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures.
. Objectives
- Education : Provide school supplies, tuition assistance, and tutoring for 100 children.
- Healthcare : Offer regular health check-ups, vaccinations, and nutritional support.
- Community Awareness : Educate families about the importance of education and healthcare.
Target Group
- Vulnerable children aged 6-14 years in Wakiso District
- Families facing financial hardships and lacking access to education and healthcare services
Activities
- Educational Materials : Distribute school supplies, uniforms, and books to children.
- Tutoring Programs : Organize after-school tutoring sessions led by volunteer educators.
- Health Clinics : Partner with local healthcare providers to conduct health check-ups and vaccinations.
- Nutrition Workshops : Educate families on proper nutrition and health practices.

- Month 1-2 : Community outreach and enrollment of children
- Month 3-5 : Distribution of educational materials and initiation of tutoring programs
