Do you have a car, some spare time, and a heart for helping others? Help us fight food insecurity one delivery at a time! Roots for Life is seeking reliable volunteers to assist with picking up food donations and delivering them to our community fridge in NW DC.
What you will do:
- Pick up donations from local businesses
- Transport items to our community fridge
- Keep a brief log of pick-ups and drop offs
What we're looking for:
- access to a reliable car
- ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- dependable, communicative, and punctual
- passion for food equity and community care

Roots for Life’s programs work in conjunction with a comprehensive educational component that is designed to deepen the connectivity by providing tips and techniques towards healthy living.
