Wesley Housing is a leading nonprofit, affordable rental housing developer that builds and preserves permanent affordable housing options for families and individuals with low- to moderate-income across Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Volunteer Opportunity: Summer Camp Photographer

We are seeking volunteer photographers interested in capturing summer camp programs at our affordable housing communities this summer.

Wesley Housing’s free summer enrichment program, QUEST, is celebrating an "Under the Sea" theme this year by offering fun, educational activities focused on the magic and mysteries of our oceans. Rising first through sixth graders at 13 properties will combat summer learning loss by enhancing Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) and literacy skills; learning healthy behaviors; and attending exciting field trips.


Similarly, Odyssey offers a week of camp at four communities for older adults! These campers will enjoy nautical arts, crafts, food, and games, creating opportunities for socialization, bonding with peers, and engagement in stimulating tasks, promoting optimum health.

This is a great opportunity for photographers looking to give back, build their portfolio, or engage with the community in a meaningful way. Volunteer photographers will receive credit on any published photos and a letter of recognition upon request.
