Our nonprofit organization supports single-parent families and is looking for an individual to maintain and enhance our social media presence on FB, Instagram and LinkedIn. The right candidate should be inspired by our mission, experienced on all 3 platforms, and have a creative flair for content development to support our brand identity and generate excitement among potential donors, sponsors, volunteers and single parents. The position is part-time with a flexible schedule and can be done remotely. You will be working with the website designer to ensure content alignment and with the Executive Director to help achieve their vision.

Empowering single parents and their children through emotional wellness programs, stress management training, financial education, and community-driven support. ICMAD fosters resilience, self-awareness, and confidence, breaking cycles of stress and isolation.

Description

iCMAD was founded in 2010 by its director, Faith Saunders, a single parent to two children. Partnering with other non-profits, iCMAD is committed to providing single parents with the necessary support systems to become emotionally healthy and able to manage trauma and stress. In 2023, iCMAD become a 501(c)(3) organization and has continued its mission to serve single parents and their children. Our programs focus on the emotional wellness of single mothers and their children from all over the NJ/NY/PA area. Most are young women from the Black and Latino communities and are experiencing financial instability and a history of trauma including homelessness and domestic abuse.
