Help our site captains lead monthly beach cleanups with opportunities to step up as a leader at:
- Sharp Park Beach, Pacifica (Second Saturday, 9-11a)
No experience? No problem! We provide training, supplies, and ongoing support.
Responsibilities include:
- Arriving and preparing for the cleanup with Site Captain Leader
- Assisting with the cleanup once a month from 9 to 11am
- Engaging with and educating volunteers
- Helping store and maintain supplies
- Representing the Pacific Beach Coalition and its mission
- Joining our monthly volunteer meeting

Description
Primary programs include:
- 10 monthly cleanups, rotating through the beautiful beaches in Pacifica, Montara and Half Moon Bay on San Mateo County's coast
- 3 monthly habitat restorations
- Annual Earth Day of Action & EcoFest
- Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day
- Naturalists at every site
- School assemblies to educate students and adults on the annual Earth Honoree
