Overview

The Clinical Research Assistant (Remote) plays a vital role in supporting the mission of the Kiona Foundation. This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking work in pediatric cancer research, family support, and community engagement. Volunteers in this role will work closely with a passionate and committed team to advance the Foundation’s strategic priorities.

Time Commitment

Expected commitment is 5-7 hrs/week, with flexibility based on availability and project needs. This is a remote volunteer position unless otherwise specified.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with participant onboarding and tracking for studies such as the ECS Deficiency Study and Andre’s Blend clinical trial.

• Coordinate with digital platforms like OnTracka to monitor biometric and survey data submissions.

• Maintain secure and accurate research records, collecting and de-identifying participant data as required.

• Support PI and co-investigators with literature reviews, regulatory updates, and study milestone tracking.

Data handling, digital platforms. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, mission-aligned, and capable of working independently in a collaborative, virtual environment.
