We are working with University of Colorado on a study to offer no cost genetic screening to everyone over 25 years of age and one Jewish grandparent. This is an effort to identify those who carry a BRCA mutation.
Here is our website: www.brca-jewish.org
Please contact me if you are interested in getting involved. We table at Jewish Festivals and events as well as at synagoges. We need more help to spread the word and save lives!

Mission Statement
The mission of the Colorado Gynecologic Cancer Alliance is to provide support to survivors and to promote awareness and early detection of gynecologic cancer through advocacy and education. We provide both emotional and financial support to those with a Gyn cancer diagnosis.
Description
The Colorado Gynecologic Cancer Alliance (CGCA - formerly known as the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance) reaches out to Coloradans who have been diagnosed with gynecologic cancer in many ways:
- Provides support through our Nicki’s Circle Support Groups
- Offers individual counseling
- Helps survivors to navigate the insurance and financial issues related to their diagnosis (Carol's Wish Financial Navigation Program)
- Offers financial assistance to Colorado survivors in treatment for ovarian cancer through the COCACares program
- Educates the general population about gynecologic cancer symptoms and risk factors through speaking engagements and via its "September Awareness" campaign.
- CGCA's annual "Jodi's Race for Awareness" is a 5K run / 1 mile walk event whose primary goal is to raise awareness of gynecologic cancer. The event, that began in 2010, is held the second Saturday of June each year.
