Empyrean Hospice is a new, faith-based hospice seeking excited and compassionate volunteers! There are two types of hospice volunteers: Indirect and Direct. Indirect Volunteers work in the office providing essential behind-the-scenes support to staff and patients. Direct Volunteers can enhance a patient's life through direct care visits to the patients and their families.
Volunteer services can be utilized for:
Friendly/supportive visits
Reading aloud
Listening to music together
Writing letters
Reminiscing
Leisure activities
Vigil services
Respite for family
Meal preparation
Pet Care
Organization/light housekeeping
or
Administrative tasks
