We have recently had several people reach out to us with help for SAT prep and GED prep. Unfortunatly we don't have a tutor at this time that is willing to take on more students. If you are interested, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

Mission Statement

The Ozark Foothills Literacy Project (OFLP) aims to empower individuals and improve communities through education. Our mission is to teach literacy to adults, enabling them to develop their full potential and access greater opportunities. OFLP primarily serves adults in Izard, Independence, Sharp, Stone, and Jackson counties in North Central Arkansas.

Description

We offer free, confidential, one-on-one tutoring in:

  • Adult Literacy: Helping adults improve reading and writing skills.

  • English as a Second Language (ESL): Supporting non-native speakers in developing English proficiency.

  • High School Equivalency (GED) and SAT Prep: Helping students prepare for the GED and college entrance exams like the SAT.

  • Digital Literacy: Newly added instruction to help learners build essential technology skills for work, school, and daily life.

All services are provided by trained volunteer tutors and are completely free of charge.
