Food Aid Project

Objective

Assist in the design and developent of a simplified MVP for the Food Aid Project using ESRI’s ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Field Maps. The MVP integrates global meteorological data, accumulates weather variables (temperature, precipitation, etc) and weather forecasts in predefined locations (shapefiles), and allows users to create shapefiles by clicking on areas (state/province, county/region, field level) and apply attributes (crop type: oats, common beans, millet, etc., approximate planted acres, planting date). Assist GISCorps volunteers, ensuring simplicity, security, and scalability.
