It's time to put the petals to the metals.
Summer is in full swing, and Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens need assistance keeping the park pretty on June 28! The warming weather means more guests are flocking to the one-of-a-kind plant sanctuary, but litter, invasive species, weeds, and trail maintenance need to be taken care of so visitors have the best experience.
Meet with a volunteer leader at 1550 Anacostia Ave NE, Washington, DC 20019 at 9:00 AM to select your project, receive supplies and orientation, and prepare for a meaningful morning of service. Dress for getting muddy, bring sunscreen with you, and ensure you have enough water.
