Volunteer at The Kitty Campus

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: SOBE CATS SPAY & NEUTER INC

Volunteers have the chance to interact with kittens and cats. We have 3 rooms, one quarantine, one for sick and the other is the Free Roam Rooms where the healthy kitties interact with each other.

We have two shifts. The morning shift is from 9:30am to 12:30pm and the evening shift is from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

Duties include:

Cleaning cages, feeding and giving water, giving treats, socializing, sweeping and mopping, using dishwasher and washer/dryer for kitty linens. And of course, giving lots of love to our kittens and cats. If you are a student 15 years or older, this is a great opportunity to get community hours. You can also learn to give medication to the sick cats however, it is not required.

Mission Statement

SoBe Cats Spay & Neuter is a 100% volunteer 501c3 nonprofit that assists the City of Miami Beach with controlling the Miami Beach homeless community cat population via Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return (TNVR), Adoption (at our fabulous Kitty Campus location) and our Registered Cat Feeder Program. We are in this for the cats’ well being and improved relations with residents and businesses.

Description

Volunteers are the backbone of our program. We rely very heavily on volunteers to represent our organization and spread the word about our work. Our volunteers options are:

(2) Our generous Registered Feeders who feed the Miami Beach community cats,
