Would you like to be part of an engaged team that is working together to assist rural Zimbabwean residents to improve their standard of living? We do this in a variety of ways and are looking to improve our social media outreach. You would be the key to take our influence to the next level. Sound interesting?

Due to the recent economic changes, we, as a charitable non-profit have been impacted in a big way. We know that social media can play an impressive role in helping us to help those living in great hardship. The primary need is to design and post video and images to media channels (such as FB, IG, Bluesky, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc ) and market in such a way that engagement follows, and views are increased, as well as generate contributions to support us in achieving our goals. This would require maintaining consistent posts.

You would work with the Executive Director for pre-posting reviews to verify accuracy and use of a 'voice’ that is consistent with Ancient Ways’ mission, vision and values, and to stay in alignment with our historical context. The Executive Director would be available for brainstorming approaches, developing new ideas and cultivating the old. We also have a volunteer editor and a technical website consultant available when needed. We would ask that you manage our digital assets in an organized, user-friendly way.

Additionally, as time permits, the following ideas can be incorporated to expand the social media consultant position to encompass more, if you are interested:

· Marketing analysis and planning by understanding donor motivations and finding ways to foster connection to communities and funders.

· Measuring marketing reach and efforts with metrics and reporting back about growth of marketing efforts.

· Assisting with WordPress site: analytics, enhancing marketplace, aiding with "field reports", and creating web graphics.

· Working with the Executive Director on special projects.
