Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues.

Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through five core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship manageEWGRIYPment, goal setting, and effective decision-making. Resilience, Inc. also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing outreach strategies to develop partnerships, seek investments, and hire specialty positions.
  • Volunteers will be responsible for researching and identifying potential partners, drafting outreach communications, and supporting the coordination of outreach events initiatives.
  • Send a large volume of messages to mental health counselors and schools to distribute products across the US.
  • Promote the social-emotional curriculum by developing projects for the Outreach department.
  • Communicate with various figures and organizations to increase positive legislation surrounding social-emotional learning in K-12 schools.
  • Develop an understanding of legislative policies regarding the social-emotional learning curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate product benefits and engage potential clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage outreach efforts and maintain accurate records.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Ability to meet weekly quotas and work diligently to achieve set targets.
  • Responsive and attentive to inquiries and communications from potential clients.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, social media, and other communication tools is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of mental health counseling or education is desirable.
  • Passion for promoting products that contribute to mental health and well-being.
  • Have strong communications skills,
  • Strong research abilities to identify strong partners, and strong initiative.
  • Additionally, adaptability, creativity, and a willingness to learn are key traits.
