LEGO Robotics w/ Basic Coding & Building

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Consistent individuals, committed to being a STEM Summer Camp Assistant to the Lead Facilitator.

  • Willing to support youth in the classroom as they build and code their robot to participate various activities

*** ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS ARE WELCOME ***
(WE PROVIDE TRAINING AS NEEDED!)

STEM Camp Location:

Freedom School @ Rondo Education Center (560 Rondo Ave, Saint Paul 55103)

* Enter at the Blue Doors - Capitol Hill Magnet School entrance

Twelve (12) School-Site STEM Summer Camp Sessions:

  • First (1st) Session: Tuesday, June 24th
  • Second (2nd) Session: Thursday, June 26th
  • Third (3rd) Session: Tuesday, July 1st
  • Fourth (4th) Session: Thursday, July 3rd
  • Fifth (5th) Session: Tuesday, July 8th
  • Sixth (6th) Session: Thursday, July 10th
  • Seventh (7th) Session: Tuesday, July 15th
  • Eight (8th) Session: Thursday, July 17th
  • Ninth (9th) Session: Tuesday, July 22nd
  • Tenth (10th) Session: Thursday, July 24th
  • Eleventh (11th) Session: Tuesday, July 29th
  • Twelfth (12th) Session: Thursday, July 31st

*** The Annual Freedom School Finale / "Harambe" Event is scheduled for Friday August 1st, 2025 from 1:00pm to 6:30pm.



YOU MUST:

➢ Enjoy working with Elementary - Middle School age students.

➢ Provide youth a positive experience in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

➢ Support youth with the build of their robot as needed.

➢ Assist youth with coding their robot in a programming language.

➢ Provide your own transportation.

➢ Pass a Youth Screening and Background Check


The key to having a great robotics season is to HAVE FUN!!!
