Rise N Shine is looking for students to start new chapters at their school. Opening this chapter involves holding bi-weekly to monthly meetings. There is a lot of flexibility in the different activities this club could do! We encourage you to take up 1 or more of these programs: sandwich making events to feed the local food-insecure community, starting a compost program, and implementing a food recovery program.

Rise N Shine Foundation is committed to reducing food waste and combating food insecurity through innovative compost and food recovery programs. Our mission is to empower youth to lead sustainable change in their communities.
Description
Rise N Shine Foundation started in 2019 and we focus on implementing composting and food recovery programs in schools and businesses. By diverting food waste from landfills, we aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainability. Some of our recent achievements include The Diana Award, The George H.W. Bush Points of Light Awards, the Sodexo Stop Hunger Award, and an invitation to speak at the White House.
