Using high quality education as our tool, you will disciple children towards a life-changing relationship with Jesus and equip them for their future. School Year Interns have the chance to take part in this long-term discipleship journey by walking alongside our students as they learn to glorify the Lord in all areas of their lives.

School Year Interns will serve in various ways throughout their time at Freedom by teaching full English classes, lesson planning, managing classrooms, grading, and serving together as a team. As you work, you will receive training and support from full-time missionaries and staff to help navigate through life on the mission field.

Description

Freedom International Ministries is a discipleship-focused ministry to the Sugarcane Villages of the Dominican Republic that uses Christian education to equip people with a biblical worldview while teaching them to love God, love people, and live out their God-given design.

We host weekly teams who step into the discipleship process.

We also have various internship opportunities varying from 6 weeks in the summer to 10 months during the school year where you get to step into the discipleship process for our nearly 400 students through teaching English on a daily basis. Our interns will be immersed in a challenging environment where they will learn to live life standing on God's Word.
