Welcome to the Good Life Farmers Market-our newest program designed to connect Oakland residents with fresh, nutritious ingredients and the tools to cook with confidence at home. In partnership with our Let’s Get Cooking class, the Farmers Market provides FREE access to fresh produce, pantry staples, and community support.

MISSION: The Good Life’s mission is to combat the public health crisis with dementia, heart disease and diabetes that disproportionately affects Black and Latin Americans. We provide classes and resources that honor our elders, support adults, and empower our youth for a healthier tomorrow; one filled with vitality and dignity for all. VISION: To create a movement for Black and Latino Americans to adopt a healthy lifestyle today, ensuring a prolonged, healthier, and happier tomorrow for generations to come. WHAT WE DO: The Good Life provides complimentary online classes, and in-person health fairs that are tailored to match the specific interests of the community. Our class offerings support the healthy development of Black and Latin Americans through shared positive experiences that celebrate health, well-being, and personal growth by supporting local communities of color.
