Description:
Community Services Agency (CSA) is seeking compassionate Mandarin-speaking volunteers to support our case managers in serving senior clients more effectively. Volunteers will assist with translating conversations between case managers and seniors to ensure clear communication and quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Mandarin-to-English (and vice versa) translation during home visits or phone calls

• Support case managers in communicating with senior clients

• Help ensure seniors' needs are accurately understood and met

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Fluent in Mandarin and English

• Comfortable working with seniors

• Able to commit to a minimum of 3 months

• Available on an on-call/as-needed basis (we’re flexible with scheduling)

• Must pass a background check

• Volunteers will not work alone with seniors - a case manager will always be present

Location:
Translation may take place during in-person home visits or over the phone. We offer flexibility based on your availability.
