Are you looking for a way to help young adults in our community at risk of homelessness? Maybe you would like to share your wisdom with younger generations. Then we invite you to partner with Finally Family Homes as a Life Skills Coach for our young adults!
At Finally Family Homes, we believe that everyone needs a place to call home and people to call family. Life Skills Coaches support our efforts through our Life Launch program which uses a trauma-informed approach to equip young adults with tools for independent living and lasting success. Coaches are paired one-on-one with a participant in order to review the curriculum and more deeply engage them in covered topics, such as resilience, job readiness, and personal finance.
While this opportunity does require a longer commitment, it also offers a very flexible schedule. We need volunteers who can meet with a young adult at least once a month for six months. However, when and where you meet is up to you and the young adult you are matched with.

You’ll apply (https://form.jotform.com/243367379062160), receive volunteer orientation, complete a background check, and train on the materials and coaching techniques. We will be there to support and guide you every step of the way and you will only be matched with a participant when you feel ready and comfortable.
