ake Steps is a fun, family event bringing together patients, care givers, health care providers, and family and friends from the IBD community. Take Steps is the largest fundraising campaign for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.
Our walk is a short one mile community event with many other games and activities. Committee memebers are needed to plan the 2026 Take Steps Walk in San Antonio. If you would like to work with the foundation to make an impact on the IBD community we would love to hear from you!

The Foundation’s work is dramatically accelerating the research process, while also providing extensive educational and support resources for patients and their families, medical professionals, and the public.

Description

We serve the estimated 50,000 IBD patients and those impacted by IBD in the communities in and around San Antonio and Austin, Texas. The Central Texas Chapter has many ways to get involved, such as active support groups led by dedicated facilitators, volunteer opportunities, and events throughout the areas we serve.
