Trail Workday volunteers will ensure trails are kept in good condition, preserving the natural landscape, and providing safe pathways for visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trail clearing using saws and related tools
- Cutting trail tread using McCleods, rogue hoes, shovels
- Placing trail markers, blazes, and reassurance markers
- Monitoring trails for visitor use
- Monitoring trails for condition updates
- Installing drainage structures such as water bars, grade dips, swales
- Building log benches and similar timber structures
