The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager (Lead) to take charge of our online presence and storytelling. This is a volunteer leadership position with the potential to grow into a paid role as we secure funding.
What You’ll DoPlan and execute weekly content across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
Create engaging graphics and visuals using Canva or other design tools
Coordinate with the HR and fundraising team for campaign launches
Track analytics and optimize reach
Help shape Sunrise’s brand voice, tone, and visual identity
Support internal marketing strategies (newsletters, campaigns, events)
Experience managing social media for a brand, nonprofit, or business
Strong Canva skills (or Adobe, Figma, etc.)
Excellent writing and visual storytelling skills
Strategic thinker who understands audience engagement
Bonus: experience working with underserved communities or youth-focused initiatives
Leadership experience in a growing nonprofit
Flexible hours, fully remote

Sunrise Solution is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth in urban communities through entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and leadership development.
