The Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager (Lead) to take charge of our online presence and storytelling. This is a volunteer leadership position with the potential to grow into a paid role as we secure funding.

What You’ll Do
  • Plan and execute weekly content across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)

  • Create engaging graphics and visuals using Canva or other design tools

  • Coordinate with the HR and fundraising team for campaign launches

  • Track analytics and optimize reach

  • Help shape Sunrise’s brand voice, tone, and visual identity

  • Support internal marketing strategies (newsletters, campaigns, events)

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience managing social media for a brand, nonprofit, or business

  • Strong Canva skills (or Adobe, Figma, etc.)

  • Excellent writing and visual storytelling skills

  • Strategic thinker who understands audience engagement

  • Bonus: experience working with underserved communities or youth-focused initiatives

Sunrise Solution is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth in urban communities through entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and leadership development.
