AtDoors of Hope, we provide housing, life skills, and emotional support to young adults who have aged out of the foster care system. These young people often face overwhelming challenges-many without family, reliable transportation, or a safety net. We step in to fill that gap and create a supportive community that helps them transition successfully into adulthood.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable volunteer to assist with transportation needs for the young adults in our program. This could include rides to job interviews, medical appointments, school classes, or grocery store runs. Reliable transportation can be the difference between a missed opportunity and a step forward in their independence.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Driving young adults to and from scheduled appointments and essential errands.
Communicating with our team for scheduled transport needs (you’ll never be expected to drive without notice).
Building supportive, positive connections while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Support our mission by ensuring our youth have access to critical opportunities.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Clean driving record.
Willingness to complete a background check (we cover the cost).
Compassionate, reliable, and professional.
Comfortable working with youth from diverse backgrounds, many of whom have experienced trauma.
