This position supports the Regional Biomedical Services department. This opportunity requires participation in in-person activities and/or performing work in a Red Cross facility.
Leadership position that combines the duties of a Donor Ambassador (DA) with aspects of the Community Volunteer Leader (CVL). The Lead DA will work in a designated geographic area collaboratively with Collections, Donor Recruiting, Local Market Manager, and/or Blood Drive Coordinator (BDC) to enhance the donor experience with concierge service, support an assigned portfolio of mobile and Regularly Scheduled Mobile Operations (RSMO) blood sites, enhance existing sponsor relationships, increase drive yields and guide donors toward Right Type Mix (RTM) procedures, train and mentor new Donor Ambassadors, recruit new registered Donor Ambassadors.
