Be a Hero for Kids in Need - Become a Delivery Lead with Sleep in Heavenly Peace!
Thousands of children go to sleep every night without a bed. At Sleep in Heavenly Peace, we believe every child deserves a safe, comfortable place to lay their head. We're a 100% volunteer-driven nonprofit building a delivering beds to kids who are sleeping on the floor, a couch, or another inadequate sleeping condition - and we need passionate leaders like you to make it happen.
Now Recruiting: Volunteer Delivery Lead
As a Delivery Lead, you'll take a hands-on role in transforming lives right in our community. You'll lead a team to deliver and assemble beds for children in need - making an immediate and lasting
What You'll do:
- Load and transport bed parts from our local storage unit to families' homes.
- Deliver and assemble twin-size beds onsite with a team of volunteers.
- Engage and lead your delivery team, ensuring smooth and timely deliveries.
What We're Looking For:
- A compassionate, dependable person with leadership ability.
- Comfortable with light lifting, hands-on assembly and power-drill use.
- Available approximately 3-4 hours per delivery, at least once a month. (Flexible to your schedule)
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required.

Description
All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. Children across the country go without a bed - or even a pillow - to sleep on. These children end up sleeping on couches, blankets, and even floors. This can affect their overall health.
That's where Sleep in Heavenly Peace comes in. We're a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch beds and bunkbeds to children and families in need.
