With over fifty years of service, Ability Inclusion services delivers day, residential, and health services to enrich the lives of people with disabilities by actively providing opportunities for independence and individual growth.
Each year our center celebrates our clients with a Client Appreciation Day, a Lūʻau complete with games, snacks, musical entertainment, and a variety of other fun activities.
To make this event awesome we are asking for VOLUNTEERS!
Client Appreciation Day will take place on June 13, 2025 at 1275 W 2320 S West Valley City, UT 84119.
Volunteers are needed from 9:15 am - 12:00 pm for the carnival as well as from 12:00 - 1:30 pm to assist with lunch and afternoon entertainment. If you are able to stay the full time, that would be amazing. We ask that all volunteers be at least 14 years old and function well without adult supervision. Volunteers will check in at the front desk.

Description
With over 60 years of continuous service, Ability Inclusion Services is Utah’s oldest non-profit dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. A true grassroots organization, AbilityIS was founded in 1958 by a group of parents frustrated by the lack of services for their children with disabilities. When public education for all children was mandated in the 1970’s, our focus changed to assisting adults with disabilities, a population often forgotten. Over the years our programs and services have grown to meet the complex and varying needs of our clients with a wide range of disabilities.
Today, we serve over 160 individuals, fulfilling our mission of enriching the lives of people with disabilities by actively providing opportunities for independence and individual growth. The Center provides two main programs: Day Services, where individuals come to the Center each day to learn work, social, and healthy living skills; and Residential Services, where individuals are encouraged to live self-sufficiently with assistance.
