We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Podcast Video Editor to join the Mentor A Promise communications team. In this role, you will help bring our message to life by editing podcast episodes and creating supplemental visual content. You will collaborate closely with the podcast team to produce engaging long-form and social media-ready video content that aligns with our mission of advocating for social justice, education, and youth empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit 2 long-form podcast videos per month (30-40 minutes each) and provide finalized video and audio files for publishing.

- Create vertical video content for social media platforms.

- Prepare agendas/notes and participate in weekly podcast and communications meetings.

- Assist with social media posting of podcast episodes.

- Collaborate with the team on thumbnail, title, and creative direction for episodes.

- Source stock images for weekly blogs using Adobe Stock.

- Support the podcast team with other production-related tasks as needed.

Essential Skills & Experience:

-Proficient in video editing; experience with Adobe Premiere Pro preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Interest in topics related to homelessness, education, and social justice.

- Ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.

- Reliable and self-motivated with strong time management skills.

Time Commitment:

- Minimum commitment: 6 months.

- Weekly time requirement: 5-6 hours, depending on production schedule and project needs.
