Help us keep history beautiful! The Botetourt County Historical Museum is looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to assist with museum beautification. Tasks include light outdoor work such as weeding, watering flowers, and sweeping walkways, as well as occasional indoor tidying or light cleaning to keep our historic space welcoming for visitors.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have an eye for detail, or simply want to lend a hand in preserving our community's heritage. Flexible hours available-please contact us to set up a volunteer schedule.

    Shifts can really be anytime during museum hours, except on Sundays

Founded in 1966, Botetourt County Historical Society, Inc. works hard to preserve the 250+ years of the County's long, rich history. The Society's collection contains items from the 1770s through to the 2000s!
