On Thursday mornings, from 8:30am to 9:00 am, we would love help packing up to go meals for the local veterans support group, COVO. Volunteers assist staff with packing snacks and lunches up to be distributed to homes and camps around the area. Sign up by emailing Clara@FamilyKitchen.org

Our Mission: to provide nutritious meals to anyone in need in a safe and caring environment.
Description
Founded in 1986, Family Kitchen serves meals 7 days a week and over 20,000 meals a month across Bend, Sisters, and Redmond to diners, various shelters, camps and low-income families.
We have a variety of shifts available, including preparing and serving meals, meal delivery, and prepping to-go boxes for shelters and relief groups around Central Oregon. We try to build a fun and inclusive atmosphere, and volunteering is a great way to get involved with building community- plus the food is delicious!
We also gladly accept donations like food, clothing, school supplies, camping gear, medical supplies, and hygiene items.
