Learning & Development Content Support - Remote or In-Person

Overview:
Are you passionate about making a global impact through education and training? Project C.U.R.E. is seeking a dedicated Learning & Development (L&D) Volunteer with a background in teaching, instructional design, and eLearning development. This role supports our mission by helping create, manage, and enhance learning resources used to train volunteers, staff, and global partners.

This is a remote/in-person, flexible volunteer position with immediate availability. Volunteers located near one of our U.S. distribution centers are encouraged to apply, but remote applicants from anywhere in the U.S. are welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and organization of learning content in our Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Assist in designing instructional materials, presentations, and eLearning modules using tools such as PowerPoint and iSpring (or similar content creation tools)
  • Edit, update, and format training documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and accessibility
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess training needs and implement solutions
  • Help manage course enrollment, tracking, and reporting within the LMS
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for users engaging with training content

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience in instructional design, teaching, training, or adult learning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) - experience with platforms like Moodle, TalentLMS, or similar preferred
  • Experience using content creation tools (e.g., iSpring, Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • A self-starter attitude with flexibility and the ability to work independently
  • Availability for regular check-ins during the week

Location & Commitment:

  • Remote (U.S. based) or In-Person; preference given to volunteers near Denver, Chicago, Phoenix, Kansas City, Nashville, Houston, or Pennsylvania
  • Flexible hours, approximately 5-10 hours/week (can vary depending on your availability and project needs)
  • Immediate start preferred
