ORGANIZATION: THE SOURCE OF HOPE

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facebook Ads & SEO Specialist to join our team as a volunteer. This role is ideal for someone passionate about holistic health and wellness, who enjoys working closely with a team of emerging professionals, and who understands the power of strategic digital marketing - even with limited resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with a team of emerging professionals to develop and manage effective Facebook ad campaigns.

  • Work with sensitive and confidential materials in a professional and trustworthy manner.

  • Create successful ad strategies that target specific audiences using knowledge of clinical health and wellness terminology.

  • Optimize ads and website content for SEO to increase visibility and engagement.

  • Adapt marketing strategies to work effectively within a low-resource or budget-constrained environment.

  • Maintain consistent communication and updates with the internal team.

  • Help train or mentor emerging professionals in basic digital marketing best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven success with Facebook Ads and SEO strategies.

  • Knowledge or experience in holistic health and wellness marketing, including clinical terminology.

  • Comfortable working with confidential information.

  • Resourceful and creative, able to work within tight budgets and minimal resources.

  • Strong remote communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.

  • Available to work Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST.

  • Passion for wellness, community empowerment, and professional mentorship.

Mission Statement

The Source of Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing health, wellness, and education of health/wellness to all individuals in need. We provide hope to our local community with free/reduced cosmetic services and various social outreach programs and empower low-income cosmetology students by providing assistance through educational programs, grants, scholarships. The creation of The Source of Hope’s Education for Hope Program is to advance educational programs aimed at individuals working on getting their cosmetology license or already licensed for Professionals wishing to continue their education in the field of cosmetology. The Source of Hope has other programs besides helping and educating in the cosmetology field. Our mission is to help individuals in need with food, housing, clothing, job placement, gas and college scholarship among other necessities.

Description

The Source Of Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing hope, wellness, and education to individuals in need. We are a dedicated team of volunteers that works to serve our DFW community for those in need such as at-risk families, veterans, and first responders. We have four programs:

  • Education for Hope: We assist qualified students of all ages to reach their dreams and goals. We provide scholarships to low income cosmetology students and facilitate students for advanced beauty education.
  • Wellness Of Hope Clinic: We offer free makeovers to individuals living with HIV/AIDs and low income individuals to help improve their self-esteem. We also provide free haircuts to senior citizens 65+, teachers, fire fighters, police officers, and veterans monthly.
  • Serving Hope: We prepare and serve meals to the homeless and elderly on the 4th Saturday of every month. We work with our local communities to provide hot home-cooked meals, free haircuts, showers, and clothing to the homeless of the DFW area. We also provide free home-cooked meals to underprivileged students in Collin County.
  • Sharing Hope: We organize a food share program in the DFW area by coordinating and distributing excess food with over 27 other organizations to aid in helping needy families. Help reduce our food waste to those in need.
